Stephen Gall

5x Australian Motocross Champion

Stephen Gall set new standards in attitude, fitness, skill and versatility.

He won four of the highly prized Mister Motocross series and five Australian Motocross championship, plus 30 state Motocross championships and three Australian dirt bike championships.

He also won the English Supercross Masters.

Tests have shown Moto and SuperX riders to be among the fittest of all sports people.

Yamaha got Gall into road racing through several Castrol Six Hour production races.

Surprising a lot of experienced road racers, he had a best of fifth outright in 1980.

Then came speedway where he won an Australian midget speedcar championship before moving to the 800 horsepower Sprintcars.

Against some strong, experienced drivers with good budgets he had some wins but no titles.

Showing true versatility, he tackled the daunting Finke Desert Race in Alice Springs and won two, an impressive achievement against guys familiar with that sort of cross country racing.

Throw in mountain biking and lots of rider training and Stephen Gall, still doing some short circuit dirt racing has distinguished himself, on and off track.
